Signs Of Infertility And The Most Common Causes
Knowing the signs of infertility and the common causes can go a long way in relieving fears about never being able to have children.
It is always best to arm yourself with the facts. And your particular infertility issues might have a very simple fix. Following, you will find a few things that might help you in your search of the cause for your infertility problems.
What most doctors consider "infertility" is, simply, the inability to get pregnant after having unprotected intercourse for 12 months. Sounds pretty basic...who said doctors are so smart?
6.1 million or 11.8% of women between the ages of 15-44 face issues with infertility. So you are not alone.
Keep in mind, though, that it might take longer than 12 months.
85% of couples conceive in the first twelve months but for 50% of the remaining couples, it might take up to 36 months to finally get pregnant. So the first thing to do when you just cannot seem to get pregnant is to not panic.
Get the facts first.
Following, you will find a few things that might help you in your search of the cause for your infertility problems.
One of The Main Signs of Infertility Is Not Being Able to Conceive!
There might not be any other signs of infertility! Hard to believe but that is the truth. There are a few others signs, but many people do not experience them.
For Men -
-Signs of hormonal problems such as changes in hair growth or sexual function.
For Women
-Abnormal menstrual cycles (normal being the same number of days between cycles, the same flow rate and time each month)
Beyond these basic signs of infertility, we need to look more closely at the causes of infertility in hopes that we might find a simple solution to your inability to conceive a child.
Signs of Infertility and How Information May Help You Conceive
Let's cover some of the main causes of infertility. Firstly, realize that of people that have problems with fertility, 40-50% of cases are due to some problem with the female, while only 20% of the issues stem from something wrong with the male.
Don't be disheartened by this, because most things can be fixed.
Main Cause For Women:-Hormonal Imbalance That Affects Ovulation
-Age (the older we get the more issues we might have)
-Anatomical Problems- Such as blocked fallopian tube, cervical disorders or polycystic syndrome (PCOS)
-Cancer Treatments
Main Causes For Men:
-Sperm Disorders-such as low quality or quantity, sperm lacks mobility or is abnormal
-Age (same thing affects men!)
-Immune Disorders
-Cancer Treatments
-STD'S
-Lifestyle or Environment
Things To Check After Identifying Your Signs of Infertility
Let's eliminate the simple fixes first!
-Check your monthly calendar! Are you having intercourse at the optimal time? An egg is best 12 to 24 hours after ovulation and sperm lasts 2-5 days. Make sure the sperm are waiting for your egg, not the other way around. They need time to get where they need to go.
-Check you basal temperature to confirm your calendar. Basal thermometers are not that expensive ($10.00 at Walgreens) and can easily get you closer to your best ovulation time.
-Notice the changes in your cervical mucus and set that date with your partner!
-Purchase an Ovulation Predictor Kit ($30.00 at Walgreens)
If you have double checked all of these then it's time to check a few things medically or find a system that will work naturally without all of the side effects.
Either way, you can figure this out and solve your infertility.
Signs of Infertility - One Simple and Effective Fix
Solving infertility can become very expensive, even if you have insurance...and there is always the option of adoption.
More and more women are being told that they have unexplained infertility and are searching for alternative ways to conceive a child.
If you could:
-improve your chances of becoming pregnant
-with no side effects, spend very little money
-and potentially fix your particular problems with infertility
would you consider trying an alternative program for a few months?
If you are one of the many women struggling with infertility, or know of someone that is looking for help, please take the time to check out Signs of Infertility

When Is The Best Time To Get Pregnant?

How To Determine the Best Time To Get Pregnant-Tips To Help
Unsure about when, during the month, is the best time to get pregnant? Or maybe you've been trying but have not had any luck and are now wondering if there is something wrong?
You are not alone. Many women are also struggling with questions about how and when is the best time the get pregnant.
Getting all the information you can is the best answer.
Many people are online, looking for the same answer in the hopes of getting pregnant quickly and safely and without all of the drugs, procedures and doctors visits.
Let's cover the most important aspects on the best time to get pregnant so that your odds improve!
May be we can quickly solve your problem quickly!
The Best Time To Get Pregnant Is The Half Way Mark
Knowing your cycle is the quickest way to know when is the best time to get pregnant! Women menstruate approximately every 28 days. Each person varies, for example, mine is consistently 26 days some women have 30 day cycles. There are differing theories about the actual time of ovulation but the most agreed upon is that women release an egg around the half way mark of their period.
The key is to count 14 days backwards from when your next period should start. This is when you will be ovulating. This will vary some, based on stress, physical exercise and nutrition, so we need to narrow it down even further.
There are a few solid ways to determine this including charting, saliva microscope and an ovulation testing kit (pee strips).
Basal Temperature Increase Means You've Already Ovulated!
Thinking that you ovulate when your temperature rises is a common mistake made by women. Every month, hormones from your pituitary gland stimulate your ovaries to release an egg, or ovulate.
At this time your basal temperature begins to rise from .05 to 1.6 degrees, reaching it's peak 2-3 days later. So to more closely determine exactly WHEN you ovulate, you need to chart your body temperature for a few months to find out if you are consistent. Then you can more closely gauge when you need to have intercourse to improve your chances of getting pregnant.
Timing is everything!
The egg is at it's peak for fertilization 12 to 24 hours after release, or 2-3 days before your basal temperature reaches it's high. That means that the sperm needs to have been introduced early enough to make its way to the fallopian tube or 2 -3 days before you ovulate.
Charting your basal temperature can be very helpful in gathering information that will help you find out when the best time to get pregnant is for you, but it can be time consuming and tedious and it doesn't necessarily tell you exactly when you are ovulating just approximately. Charting is useful but becoming old school thinking.
Cervical Mucus Can Determine The Best Time To Get Pregnant
Pay attention to your cervical mucus.Your mucus will change to an "egg-white-like" consistency right before the egg is released. This creates the best environment for the sperm. This will create an environment that will help the sperm survive longer and aid the progression of the sperm to the fallopian tube for fertilization.
Do You Know When You Ovulate? Charting Your Way To Getting Pregnant!
Charting can be overwhelming to some people, but it is also a great way to get some information about your cycle and any potential problems there might be.
Following is a video reviewing basal temperature charting, mucus monitoring and cervical postioning. It will show you how to chart your cycle and it can be done for
free so you can avoid a costly doctors visit.
The Newest Way to Test Is Simple and Quick!
The saliva testing kit is becoming more and more popular as a way to determine the best time to get pregnant because it is much simpler than peeing on strips or monitoring you basal temperature every day for months and months.
These kits can be purchased for $30 and can be used over and over again.
Here is a quick video to give you the basic idea behind the newest way to test for fertility.
Ovulation Predictor Kit to Help Find The Best Time To Get Pregnant
Purchasing an ovulation predictor kit to help with determining your actual ovulation day might also be an option for you. These kits test your urine for the surge in hormones that takes place before ovulation and can more accurately help you determine exactly when you are ovulating. They can be purchased at most pharmacies.
Finding the Best Time To Get Pregnant Without All of The Hassle!
No matter what, if you are not able to get pregnant, want to solve male or female issues with infertility, want a simple and effective way to find the best time to get pregnant and improve your odds of getting pregnant and having a healthy child you might want to think outside the box. That's what I did because I didn't have insurance, nor a lot of money, I was over 40 years old and really didn't want all of the doctors visits and hassle of researching different methods, charting for many months and buying all of the testing kits. I wanted something simple, logical, and preferably without drugs or artifical treatments. Cheap would be great too!
It might be an option for you to try something that just requires a little reading and a simple lifestyle change. It was something I chose and wanted to make more people aware of the options they have before commiting to expensive procedures or giving up entirely.
More and more now, because of all of the infertility problems people are facing, natural and holistic research has increased as have the number of people opting for an alternative to all of the invasive and expensive medical treatments. This doesn't include the many people that either don't have insurance or their insurance does not cover infertility!
I didn't even know there was such a thing as infertility insurance!
If you are like me, and recognize that we are bombarded by artifical "stuff" in our food, water and air on a daily basis, then you should consider trying something more simplistic first. One such program will give you information that has been researched and is proving effective at getting women pregnant safely and quickly.
It will also give you information on the best time to get pregnant.
